Arsenal agree to sign MLS stars

Chelsea starlet Plans On Joining Madrid

Defensa Central states, Chelsea sensation and England star Reece James is keen on joining Real Madrid in the next transfer window. Despite the Spanish Giants interest, Chelsea will aim to keep hold of their man away from the La Liga giant.

However, Reece James has provided 7 assist and scored 6 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions this season. The young lad is in form in the last few years has been noticed ever since, with some of the most prolific clubs in Europe, which includes Real Madrid, having interest in him.

The English man has been one of the graduates of Chelsea’s academy alongside key figures like Mount, who also shone in the first-team setup. Mason, the 22-year-old also established himself as a pivotal player for the Blues and has enjoyed a solid 2021/2022 campaign.

The interest from the Spanish giants is hardly surprising, considering Dani Carvajal has endured a tough 2021/22 season due to injury concerns. Even though the Merengues have enjoyed a successful campaign thus far, the veteran Spanish international has been one of the few players who have left a lot to be desired.

Have your say – Should Chelsea keep hold of their starlet away from Real Madrid or sell him?

Arsenal agree to sign MLS duo as EDU makes ready £19.2million transfer exit

Let’s face it, as exciting as these transfer rumours are, it’s not, quite confirmed the same as an actual player being, is it?

Fortunately, Arsenal has confirmed a new acquisition before the season has even begun which is not surprising in most of Europe big Clubs.

Arsenal fans felt a bit disappointed and somehow underwhelmed by the January transfer window, which saw has shown no new signings coming through the door at the Emirates.

The club did, however, agree to summer deals with MLS duo Matt Turner and Austin Trusty, who are expected to arrive in time for pre-season.

Matt Turner

Though Matt and his current club, New England Revolution, announced their player wants to make a move to the Gunners this coming transfer window, Arsenal on the other end has been lipped-tied about any potential move until now. Football.london reports, the club is aiming to officially confirm and announce the signing in June when Matt goes over for a physical test, but they might as well simply choose todeclare it now.

Austin Trusty

This is because, posting a story on Instagram from his wedding, which unwittingly discloses Matt will be an Arsenal player.

The photograph clearly displays bunch of white and red flowers, a note could also been seen that reads, ‘Congratulations on your wedding day!’ From everyone at Arsenal Football Club, best of wishes.’

This as blatant as it looks; Arsenal has a great history of concealing the worst-kept secrets in football, and as little as it looked things have changed!

The 27-year-old United States Men National Men Team(USMNT) shot-stopper is fully expected to replace Bernd Leno at the emirates, who is now a backup to Aaron Ramsdale.

Daily star reports, Leno, who arrived for £19.2 million in the year 2018, is now being admired by Bundesliga clubs ahead of a probable transfer in the coming transfer window, with the player previously stating his dissatisfaction at being dropped recently.

‘It was a setback and a very bitter moment,’ he told Spox, via Goal. ‘But that’s sport, you have to accept that. It wasn’t easy’, but I couldn’t feel more sorry for myself. It has been clearly communicated to me that it had nothing to do with my performance which made it very difficult to accept at first.

‘I always played very well in the years before and was hardly ever injured. ‘That hits you hard. But as I mentioned, there’s no reason to feel sorry for yourself. You have to look ahead, stay focused and keep working on yourself. That’s what I did’.

In as much as I sympathize with Leno, Ramsdale has been fantastic for Gunners this season’.

As Edu said, given the money spent on him, as well as the other profiles brought in last summer, it was evident that Arteta was going to prioritize youth in his ambitions in the Club.

Keeping Leno at the club was very critical for Ramsdale’s growth, development and squad depth, but with Matt’s impending arrival, the German international is looking for a new club where he can demonstrate his abilities on a regular basis.

Despite this, Leno is an accomplished goalkeeper with a lot to offer, therefore we should absolutely strive to acquire at least £10m – £15m for him.

The 30-year-old will have a year left on his contract in June, so the club is unlikely to get anything for him.
