Robert Holding saying Arsenal Should look at Chelsea as "Competitive Rival"

Arsenal defender, Holding doesn’t think the gap between Chelsea and Arsenal is as important as the final 2020/21 premier league standings might suggest.

Who is Robert Holding?

Robert Holding Samuel is from England born on September 20, 1995 in United Kingdom. joined Arsenal FC in 2016, but 2014-2016 played Bolton wanderers, loaned to Bury.  He play Center-back for premier league club, Arsenal FC.

What Robert Holding said about Chelsea

According to Robert Holding, he said Arsenal don’t seek ambitiously to be more like Chelsea that the gunners should look at the present European champions as a “Competitive rival”.

Chelsea, from a slow start in 2020/21 campaign, bounced back after Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in January, securing a fourth place in the premier league table and winning the champions league title, while going all the way in the super cup final.

Arsenal ended the campaign down to eighth position in the premier league and dropped out of European competition after 25years for the first time.

According to Holding, he said,

“I see Chelsea as a competitive rival for us. I don’t see them as a team we aim to be like and i don’t think they see us that way either”.

“I don’t think that because they won the champions league, with no Europe this season we’ve got no distractions or fixture congestion and can really focus on our premier league matches”, he added.
