Chelsea legend Tony Cascarino has sent a big warning to Timo Werner who is currently not living up to expectations.
The ex player isn’t happy with how the German is yet to pick up form since making his move to Stamford Bridge.
Tony Cascarino has sent warning to Timo Werner who he told the club will move on without him.
The forward is being linked with a move elsewhere as top clubs in Europe are lining up potential deal on the table.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid recently joined the race to sign the German International in 2022.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are two favourites to land a move for the striker who could get regular playing time.
His time with Chelsea is still proving to be a down slide as he has failed to make it count by scoring goals.
Former Chelsea forward Tony Cascarino has warned Timo Werner that he could be sold if his bad run of form continues.
He warned that if should he fail to find more consistent form at Stamford Bridge the club will carry on leaving him.
He Said: “Chelsea fans have been loyal to misfiring centre forwards, such as Andriy Shevchenko and Fernando Torres.
In the past and the same has been true of Werner, but strikers cannot be simply OK at big clubs.
“The German cannot continue to miss so many big chances, because otherwise — just as with Shevchenko and Torres — the club will move him on.”
Timo Werner scored in Chelsea 3-1 win against Southampton during their Premier League clash.
