The Blues continue to play without their top strikers and are going to face Burnely without a natural striker.
Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Romelu Lukaku, Mateo Kovacic, Mason mount and Timo Werner still not available.
This shows Kai Havertz could play as a false nine once again for the Blues like he played in the previous two matches.
Mason could not join kai in attack due to a tooth infection that overruled him of the last two matches.
Thomas Tuchel speaking on Injuries. He said, “We are maybe in a bit trouble with players being overused or injured”.
“Mount lost weight due to tooth problem and cannot eat properly tho he takes medication.
Thomas Tuchel said, “Hudson-Odoi is clearly on the right track and you can see in matches how good he is.
“I feel him coming back very focused. He waited a long time for this opportunity and we need Odoi to show consistency. He is in a good form.”
N’Golo Kante is also expected to be back after missing the mid-week clash against Malmo, so could take Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s place in Chelsea vs Burnley today.
Tuchel also said Marcos Alonso is out after sustaining injury late in Chelsea’s clash against Malmo, so Ben Chilwell and Reece James are likely play as the two wing-backs.
