Romelu Lukaku and Reece James scored as Chelsea beat Arsenal 0-2 in their second game of the season in the English Premier League.
Chelsea started the game as the better side as they took the lead in the 15th minute through new signing Romelu Lukaku who finished off Reece James’ assistance to make it 0-1 for his side.
Arsenal failed to make things right in their defense as Reece James doubled the lead with another goal in the 35th minute which turned the scoreline 0-2 as it progressed with more coming.
It was all about Thomas Tuchel’s side dominating things in all front as they pushed forward and creating more opportunities which they failed to convert as the encounter lightened up more.
The first half of the game ended with Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea with a good advantage into the break for the Blues after an amazing 45 minutes.
A better second-half encounter was more evenly balanced as the Gunners came out looking like a team that is ready to make things happen after the first 45 minutes.
It was becoming good second half for Arsenal who was able to find their balance and rhythm in the match as they created some good opportunities but no goal for them.
Chelsea was comfortable with the lead as everything was all about them holding on until they find a way in which they could increase their lead that didn’t come as it progressed.
More coming, with opportunities from both sides who were looking to try and salvage something with the Gunners needing more of a miracle that could have given them some hopes.
The match finally came to an end with Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea as the Blues moved top of the table with another win after comfortably beating Crystal Palace 3-0 in their first game of the season with them now top of the table.
