Timo Werner and Mason Mount scored to help Chelsea book the Champions League final with a 2-0 victory against Real Madrid at home.
Chelsea scored in the 18th minute as Timo Werner put the ball in the back of the net but unfortunately, the referee already signaled for offside.
Real Madrid had some good opportunities but Edouard Mendy was too good until Timo Werner scored to make it 1-0 for his side in the 28th.
The game went on with Los Blancos coming close with Karim Benzema who was once again denied by the good save from Edouard Mendy.
The first half of the encounter finally came to an end with Chelsea 1-0 Real Madrid.
Real Madrid could have gone down by 2 goals but Thibaut Courtois was able to deny Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.
Chelsea continued to press further with more opportunities coming their way but their finishing was always poor.

The match finally came to an end with Chelsea 2-0 Real Madrid which saw Thomas Tuchel’s side reach the Champions League final.
