Chelsea beat Man City 2-1 after coming from behind which Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso both scored as the Blues move to 3rd on the Premier League table.
Chelsea had things under control in making sure they don’t concede despite being pressured so much by their opponent who tested Edouard Mendy.
The game progressed with more opportunities coming to both sides until Man City scored the opener in the 44th minute through Sterling to make it 1-0 for side who was better.
Immediately the Citizens were awarded a penalty which Sergio Aguero stepped up to take but was saved by Edouard Mendy who was at alert.
The second 45 minutes, was an entirely different ball game which we saw the London side showing what they are made of by pressing them.
Man City was in total dominance as the game went on with them on the lead as the visitors think they pulled back level when Werner but was offside for the German.
Chelsea finally was able to get the leveler in the 63rd minute which came after they pressured their opponent before Ziyech scored to make it 1-1 for his side with a stunner.
Timo Werner once again scored another goal which was chopped off and immediately Hudson-Odoi scored but also ruled out by VAR after it was reviewed.
Finally it counted when Marcos Alonso scored in the 90+ minutes which was after a good buildup play which made it 2-0 from an outstanding finish to the Spaniard.
The game came to an end with Man City 1-2 Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel’s side claimed a crucial three points to go 3rd on the table.
