Chelsea target Milan Skriniar is set to sign a new deal with Inter who are looking to push away any club looking to make a move next summer.
The Blues are eyeing a raid on the Serie A champions after they completed the signing of Romelu Lukaku from them.
Milan Skriniar and Bastoni are both linked with a move to Chelsea, but Inter is now doing everything possible to extend Skriniar’s current contract.
The defender was one of the outstanding performers as Inter Milan claimed their first League title after a very long time.
A move elsewhere is being tipped to happen with the club going through a financial crisis that saw them sell Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Milan Skriniar is in line for a new contract at Inter Milan as they are looking to keep players amid interests pouring in, according to reports from Calcio Mercato.
The 26-year-old’s current deal expires in 2023, but the Italian champions are making it a priority to tie him down to fresh terms as they don’t want to lose him to another team next summer window.
Milan Skriniar has played every minute of Inter’s opening four games of the new Serie A campaign, helping them rise back to the top of the table where they currently occupy.
The Italian side is not ready to see another of their player leave as they are currently set to offer him and Lautaro Martinez a new contract before the season comes to an end.
For now, no agreement has been reached yet for a contract extension as Chelsea will be monitoring the situation which could see them decide on what to do next.
There is also Jules Kounde deal which was abandoned after a failed agreement and the London side are reported to be coming back when the winter window opens.
