As I was writing my daily Morning Pages, I was thinking about something I did written about yesterday with the main intent of using it for my article in these newsletter. This particular subject was about shifting far away from fear. later on as I thought about it I decided that it was no longer suitable or desirable to write about and focus on fear. What is the most needed element now for all of us is to focus on love. Then also about doubt “another form of fear’ arose within me.
Is that even close to being possible that i write about love when I know that I only know so very little about it,,” I just thought to myself. “I know a whole lot more about fear… as so does the majority of people here on this planet”.
Then inspiration struck hard on me.
It reminded me of an incident that occurred last summer when I walked the trail at one of my favorite local parks. It’s a very beautiful forest that skirts the beach for miles and miles. one point, it was delightful I heard sound of laughing and shouting children with very great joy coming from the direction of the beach. As I looked through trees toward the beach I saw an older couple with two young children. I’m guessing it was grandpa and the grandma, and the grandkids. As I stood there for a while enjoying their fun the grandpa looked at me. Even though I was a bit distant from them, I could see a very huge smile on his face. He raised his arm and waved high back and forth in an energetic “Hi!”
That very brief incident was the answer to my query about the doubts i was having about knowing enough of love to write about it. This energetic wave and smile from the grandpa was an act of love he shared with me his inner happiness of being in that beautiful place with his beloved wife and grandkids. Only that brief memory gave me many moments of happiness and feelings of love as I relived the event.
I clearly recalled the particular event this very morning, I was reminded of such similar events that are stuck in my memory. Events that give me moments of happiness and warm feelings that is of love each and every time I remembered them.

In regards to one such occasion, I and my husband were at a our favorite restaurant for Brunch on Sunday and we were being shown to our table. We walk by a very large round table which was filled with father, mother, kids….. and grandma, who was sitting quietly in a chair, looking downward while almost everyone else chatted noisily and very happily with one another. As we passed, I noticed the beautiful and brightly colored and intricately pattern blazer she wore on. I leaned down and said, “What a very beautiful jacket you have.” She looked at me and her face lit up with a very huge smile. I brightly smiled back at her as she thanked me and began to talk about how much she had much amount of love for the jacket. Then I looked up and I quickly noticed that everyone who was at the table was quiet as they had watched this little scene. The mother was looking at me with a loving smile on her face and tears allover her eyes as she saw her mother respond to my simple act of kindness. Later I noticed that grandma was animatedly also engaging in the family conversation.
