Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane both scored as Liverpool claimed an impressive 2-0 win against Burnley in the English Premier League encounter.
Both sides started the game brightly with more coming from the home side who dominated things going forward and created more of the opportunities.
Liverpool took the lead in the 18th minute of the encounter after an amazing buildup from play saw Konstantinos Tsimikas delivering the assist for Diogo Jota to make it 1-0.
Burnley continued to hold on as the pressure was all of them with so much firepower in the front of their defense which was where most of the action was seen in the first half.
Mohamed Salah scored another goal in the 27th minute of the game but after review by VAR, it was ruled out which was due to the Egypt international who was offside before scoring.
The game carried on until the first half finished with Liverpool taking the lead unto the break which saw Burnley unable to make anything happen at the end of it all.
Still same things happening as the second half came on with the Reds pushing for more goals after getting one which was scored earlier in the first 45 minutes.
Burnley had many things to do as they needed to get back and also did everything possible to keep their opponent from increasing their lead which was looking good.
Sadio Mane 69th minute stunner ensured things got out of hands as Liverpool took a 2-0 lead in the encounter after another great play saw Trent Alexander Arnold helping to the goal.
More coming but nothing could come out as the game ended with Liverpool claiming their second victory of the season after beating Burnley 2-0 to stay top of the table with six points.
