Manchester City thrashed Norwich City 5Nil to bounce back from their opening game defeat as Jack Grealish score first goal for the Citizens.
Pep Guardiola’s side ran riot against the Premier League newcomers who couldn’t make anything for themselves as things were out of their control in the first half of the encounter.
Manchester City scored their opening goal in the 7th minutes as Gabriel Jesus’ strike was averted into the back of the net by Tim Krul to make it 1-0.
Ferran Torres scored in the 15th minute of the game but after consultations, the goal was ruled out by VAR as the scoreline remained 1-0 against Norwich City.
Jack Grealish opened his account for the Citizens in the 22nd minute as he scored an outstanding goal which made it 2-0 for the Blues.
The first half carried on and ended with Manchester City 2-0 Norwich City as the both headed in for the break with Pep side taking control of the game.
Some good response from the away side in the second half early minutes which saw them holding off the Premier League Champions who were unstoppable.
Its was still all work to do for Norwich City side who still continued to soak in all the pressure coming from their opponent who saw more of the ball.

Raheem Sterling made it 4-0 in the 71st minutes as the goal kept on coming non-stop without the visitors having anything to do about it as it carried on.
Before they knew it was 5-0 in the 85th minute as Raheem Sterling wrapped things up with an amazing finish which saw brilliant.
The game ended with Manchester City 5-0 Norwich City as the Premier League Champions get their season underway with a big win.
