Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City striker on Thursday revealed that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Aguero, who disclosed this said he has been self-isolating after he came in close contact with another person who has the novel virus.
However, the forward who has struggled with injuries and had undergone a knee surgery in june missed the end of last term and has been unavailable for the last four games this season.
Therefore, it means that he will miss the FA Cup trip to Cheltenham, and the Premier League fixtures against West Brom and Sheffield United.
The Argentine star wrote on Twitter, “After a close contact, I’ve been self-isolating and the latest test I took was positive for COVID 19. I had some symptoms and I’m following doctor’s orders for recovery. Take care, everyone!”
