WHEN DOES THE 2022 WORLD CUP START IN QATAR?

WHAT WILL BE THE OPENING MATCH OF THE 2022 WORLD CUP IN QATAR?

The World Cup event will begin on November 21, 2022 , with Senegal’s duel against the Netherlands.

Unlike other occasions, the first match of the World Cup will not feature the host, in this case Qatar.

WHEN WILL THE OPENING MATCH OF THE 2022 WORLD CUP BE IN QATAR?
This first meeting between Senegal and the Netherlands will take place on November 21 from 1:00 p.m. at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

WORLD CUP 2022: TEAMS QUALIFIED FOR THE WORLD CUP IN QATAR

 

We already know the vast majority of teams qualified for the 2022 World Cup

Qatar was the first team participating in it thanks to its status as host of the World Cup.

Along with Qatar, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, France, England, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland and the Netherlands have already qualified by UEFA. In addition, Wales obtained the last ticket after beating Ukraine in the playoffs.

As for CONMEBOL , Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and Uruguay have already sealed their qualification for the World Cup.

Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Australia are the five AFC teams that have already made it to Qatar 2022.

In Africa, the teams face a decisive week to win the five CAF tickets to Qatar 2022. Senegal knocked out Egypt on penalties, so Sadio Mané and company will be at the World Cup. Along with them, Ghana, who eliminated Nigeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Cameroon.

Canada was the first Concacaf team to qualify for the World Cup. The United States and Mexico added their presence on the last day.
