Former Chelsea manager is keen on signing Kepa Arrizabalaga to Lazio ahead of the January window.
The Blues second choice goalkeeper has been linked with move elsewhere as top clubs in Europe are looking at the opportunity of signing him.
Lazio Is the latest side who want to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga as Sarri want to link up with the goalkeeper he signed during his time as Chelsea manager.
The Blues won’t be looking to sanction any move as they strongly want the goalkeeper to remain with the club moving forward.
Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Chelsea for a record breaking fee which they won’t be looking to let him leave that easy.
The Spain International struggled with the club which led to them making a move for Edouard Mendy who came in and took over his position.
Although Kepa has been working hard and showing signs of improvement which saw him saving Chelsea in penalty shootouts.
Sport Witness have reported that many people at Lazio including Maurizio Sarri are keen on signing Kepa Arrizabalaga ahead of the 2022 transfer window.
Corriere dello Sport covered the situation on Thursday and explained that the Chelsea shot stopper is a man both Sarri and Lazio’s director of football as they are strongly interested in making a move.
However, the report adds that Chelsea would need to pay half his wages for any deal to happen as they are only open to a loan move due to the goalkeeper fee.
Thomas Tuchel already made it clear that the Spaniard won’t leave but the decision might just change with Kepa looking to make next year World Cup.
