It was around afternoon time on the transfer deadline day that Saul Niguez accepted a move away from ATM was not going to happen.

Chelsea made an effort to secure the deal but no agreement signed yet.

Less than 12 hours later, Chelsea were in a hurry, preparing important paperwork to send over to the premier league to secure signing of Saul Niguez as it was dramatic.

The midfielder was free to kick start his career in Stamford bridge.

Saul Niguez on his signing said, “This transfer is a step out of my comfort zone for me. I believe that you will see a new Saul in a new better place”.

Saul arrived at Chelsea in the middle of an international break which helped him to settle down in Cobham.

He spent more than week training under Thomas Tuchel and was among the starting eleven for the visit of Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge, but didn’t play well.

Throughout his first debut, which lasted for 45 minutes, he was always out of possession and was simply not attuned to the way of the English game and he was substituted at half time.

On his second debut for the blues, in the Carabao cup third round again was against Aston villa.

He missed his possessions and was substituted, this time around after 76minutes played.

Saul’s situation at Chelsea is now in a questionable tag for Thomas Tuchel’s £30million option.

The challenge for Saul at Chelsea to make impressions in the next seven matches in 21 days for the blues and to try showing his abilities.

Unless there is a sharp and dramatic improvement Saul will remain on fringes and his £30million loan switch won’t be permanent.

And if that is the case, it is an experience Chelsea must learn from.

Newcastle united eye Chelsea duo as reported by 90min.

The magpies have shortlisted Chelsea two players, Ruben loftus-cheek and Ross Barkley on their first signing transfer market.

According to transfer market, both combined market value of £31.5million.
