Kepa Arrizabalaga has come out to clear the air on his relationship with Edouard Mendy after his injury prior to Tottenham game.
The Spain International has expressed happiness knowing his relationship with the Chelsea number one is good despite Mendy taking his spot.
Chelsea currently have two of the best goalkeepers in Premier League and Kepa Arrizabalaga has once again express his mind about his relationship with the Senegalese.
Edouard Mendy was replaced ahead of Tottenham match after sustaining a knock which didn’t allow him to go ahead to start in the encounter.
Kepa Arrizabalaga was able to do a perfect job once again as he claimed a clean sheet and some good saves against Spurs.
Just like the Super Cup final where the Spain International came in and helped Chelsea win the trophy was same way he once again made a good backup.

“Edou and I have a very good relationship,” he told the club’s official website.
“We are training together every day and support each other whoever is playing. You could see in the Super Cup the relationship we have.
He was one of the first players to congratulate me after the penalty shoot-out and of course we celebrated together.
“Hopefully he can return to training soon from his injury.”
With the Blues playing cup game tonight, it’s still not confirmed if Edouard Mendy will play or will be rested ahead of Manchester City match.
Although his injury isn’t a major concern as everyone thought it was leading to him being dropped against Tottenham.
The manager confirmed earlier that Edouard Mendy wasn’t feeling comfortable that’s why he was used in the encounter.
Kepa Arrizabalaga did a good job covering and he might be the man to take over as goalkeeper tonight against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
